the moment when
InstallationJanuary 2022
Water continuously drips onto glass plates and gathers in the shape of letters spelling the sentence the moment when my tears fall down. When the viewer looks up to see where the water emerges, they look into a small mirror and see their own face. The materials used are a tool to contextualise the sentence, the water drops become tears and the mirrors may make the words relate to the viewer themselves. Mirrors and irrigation system are built into the existing architecture of the space, site-determination of the work make the installation merge in both form and content to the individual experience for space and viewer.
