the moment when
InstallationJanuary 2022
Water drips down onto glass plates at irregular intervals, forming small puddles that take the shape of letters. Together, they spell out the sentence: The moment when my tears fall down.
The work combines material, time and content into a constantly changing process. A delicate tension between evaporation and dripping materialises the sentence in its substance. If too much water were to collect, the puddles would overflow – the sentence loses its legibility. The installation is thus in a constant balance between emergence and dissolution. In its lively, fragile process, it reflects on visibility, vulnerability and emotion.
